Doug Robson’s fresh, vibrant Central Mexican- inspired eatery is something to talk about. Chips and salsa cost a buck but are far from ordinary with delicate La Sonorense chips and two handcrafted salsas: a tangy tomatillo and a smoky, kick-in-the-pants Chile de ‘rbol. Robson imported popular all-day breakfast items with a twist. Otro piles al pastor, carne asada, shrimp, fish and vegetables on thin, griddled, house-made flour tortillas ‘ with achiote and pineapple pork al pastor the best of the bunch. Otro-exclusive standouts include El Espa’ol, silky serrano ham with avocado and green olives and a refreshing mint-kissed quinoa salad.
