For the fifth year, the Girl Scouts-Arizona Cactus-Pine Council is rocking our worlds with the Girl Scout Cookie Dessert Challenge (some of my favorite words in the best possible order). Chefs from some of the state’s most popular restaurants will use their culinary prowess to re-imagine one of the beloved flavors of Girl Scout Cookies – Do-Si-Dos, Samoas, Tagalongs, Thin Mints, Trefoils, S’mores and Savannah Smiles – into a custom dessert creation. Each restaurant has agreed to feature its dessert on their menu until February 28, 2018, with a portion of the proceeds from each dessert sold directly supporting Girl Scouting in Arizona, a leader in creating safe, positive spaces for girls to grow in confidence and skills.
My rule of thumb: If its helping others, the calories don’t count.
