Steel Panther’s tongue-in-cheek spoofing on 1980s glam rock has gained worldwide popularity thanks in no small part to the band’s adept musicianship – they may be performing tunes with ridiculous titles like “Gloryhole,” “Supersonic Sex Machine” and “Weenie Ride” in hot pink spandex and animal prints, but they sound great doing it. Co-op opens the show. $42-$52. 9 p.m. December 31 at Livewire. livewireaz.com

#4: White Elephant Bingo at The Clarendon Hotel, December 27
“Hip Historian” Marshall Shore hosts this rooftop shindig at The Clarendon Hotel, wherein participants can bring one of the most unusual (read: unwanted) gifts they received over the holidays, and have a chance to exchange it for someone else’s most unwanted gift. There will also be bingo, with prizes for the winners. Free. 7 p.m. December 27 at The Clarendon Hotel. https://www.facebook.com/events/1183605151727679/
