For 25 years, My Sister’s Closet has helped women clean out their closets, consign items and shop for new clothes. They’ve also expanded to include men’s furnishings under the name Well Suited. To consign, you must follow the “Three C’s”: Cute, Clean and Current (no more than 4-5 years old, in like-new condition). After your item sells, you’ll get 45 percent of the selling price in cash or 55 percent in store credit.

To Be Continued carries handbags, shoes, jewelry, gowns and ready-to-wear luxury brands, including Chanel, Christian Louboutin, Hermes and Prada. They take designer items that are less than five years old in mint condition and the consigner is offered a minimum of 50 percent commission on any luxury item sold and 40 percent on any contemporary item sold. The difference between luxury and contemporary is based on the brands, which are listed on the To Be Continued website.
