The annual Key to the Cure fundraiser takes place this year from October 15-18 at Saks Fifth Avenue at Biltmore Fashion Park. The high-end department store will donate two percent of sales on those days to TGen’s cancer research programs. On October 16, the Key to the Cure fashion show starts at 8:30 a.m., and features the latest fall fashions, food, drinks and a raffle for designer items.
Moore, who recently won an Oscar for her performance in Still Alice and was previously nominated for her roles in four other films including The Hours and Boogie Nights, said, “Everyone has been affected by cancer in some way, whether you’ve cared for a loved one facing a cancer diagnosis, or contended with cancer yourself… I hope everyone will join me in supporting this cause by purchasing a Key to the Cure T-shirt.”
Fashion designer Jason Wu made this year’s limited edition T-shirt, available starting October 1 at Saks Fifth Avenue stores and retailing for $35, with 100 percent of proceeds benefiting TGen. To learn more about the campaign, visit tgenfoundation.org/KTTC.
