Staind
The legendary nu-metal band just announced it is extending the tour celebrating the 25th anniversary of its breakthrough album Break the Cycle into 2027. The “It’s Been a While” group certainly hasn’t lost the ability to draw an audience. Fellow 2000s rockers Hoobastank will open. 6 p.m. Check website for ticket prices. Talking Stick Resort Amphitheatre, 2121 N. 83rd Ave., Phoenix, livenation.com

SOMBR
You may have caught SOMBR at the 2026 MTV VMAs last month during the show’s tribute to George Michael. But it wasn’t just his vocals that caught our attention. The New York-based singer-songwriter also wore the same leather jacket the pop superstar wore in his video for “Faith.” And like Michael, SOMBR’s songs have just the right amount of pomp and introspection, which captured not only TikTok users but also Taylor Swift. 7 p.m. Check website for ticket prices. Desert Diamond Arena, 9400 W. Maryland Ave., Glendale, desertdiamondarena.com

Kacey Musgraves
If you’re looking for proof that aliens actually exist, you may want to make your way to this country star’s show. Back in April, Musgraves was on a flight from Fort Worth, Texas, to Nashville when she noticed some unusual orbs following her plane for a whopping 45 minutes. She described the moment as the “craziest f*****g orb UFO experience.” Considering that Phoenix is home to another high-profile alien sighting, worlds may literally collide at this concert. 7:30 p.m. Check website for ticket prices. Mortgage Matchup Center, 201 E. Jefferson St., Phoenix, 602-379-7800, ticketmaster.com
October 17-18
Jeff Goldblum
Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo aren’t the only members of the Wicked cast with musical chops. Their co-star Jeff Goldblum is an accomplished jazz pianist, and both Grande and Erivo appear on his fourth album, Still Blooming. Together, they interpret the great American songbook for a modern audience. To promote the record, the Jurassic Park actor is hitting the road with the Mildred Snitzer Orchestra for several shows over the weekend. 6 and 8 p.m., $175.50-$225.50, Musical Instrument Museum, 4725 E. Mayo Blvd., Phoenix, 480-478-6000, mim.org
October 18
Chayanne
The Puerto Rican boy band Los Chicos may have parted ways over four decades ago, but Chayanne is still a superstar. When he hits the road this year, he’ll perform songs from his prolific solo career. 7 p.m. Check website for ticket prices. Desert Diamond Arena, 9400 W. Maryland Ave., Glendale, desertdiamondarena.com
