PHOENIX magazine celebrates 60 years in 2026 and to honor our great city, we’re launching the PHOENIX magazine anniversary club.
First up, a visit to Citizen Public House, now 15 years strong in the heart of Old Town Scottsdale.
Chef/owner Bernie Kantak is cooking up throwback classics such as Pork Belly Pastrami and Pan-Seared Scallops from January 11-31.
He says 15 years of success is not possible without providing an exceptional customer experience.
“It’s honestly pretty simple: make people happy,” Kantak told PHOENIX. “Over that time frame we have to evolve because people’s wants and needs change, but really it’s all about making people happy.”
