Watch out, Christmas at the Princess. For the first time, JW Marriott Phoenix Desert Ridge is tossing its hat into the holiday extravaganza ring with Jingle at JW Desert Ridge, a winter festival with activities for all ages. “[It] will transform our resort into a winter wonderland right here in the heart of the Sonoran Desert,” says general manager Paige Lund, who promises everything from fireside lounging and ice skating to gourmet holiday fare and snow play. “We can’t wait to welcome our guests and the local community to… share in the holiday spirit and make lasting memories together.” The revelry will run November 22-January 5, with ice skating rinks starting at $20 per person per hour, and fireside lounges starting at $219 for six to 10 guests. Visitors can also play in the snow on the Family Escape Lawn and enjoy the thrill of skiing with a virtual simulator.
