Since she’s not fluent in Diné, she often combines words from the Navajo tongue with English, as in her “Yá’át’ééh Gorgeous” design – Yá’át’ééh means hello. “Often we don’t tell ourselves we are gorgeous, so this shirt always puts a smile on my face, and it’s always a conversation starter when you wear it.” Barbra Streisand would no doubt approve.
