Every week, we present a curated list of live music in a wide range of genres around the Valley. This week’s column brings together two famous Valley residents for one amazing show.

October 21
Black Rebel Motorcycle Club
It came to Black Rebel Motorcycle Club’s attention that the U.S. Department of Homeland Security was using one of their songs in a promotional video. In response, they told the agency on social media to cease and desist using the song, concluding the letter with a phrase we cannot say on a family website. 8 p.m. Check website for ticket prices. The Van Buren, 401 W. Van Buren St., Phoenix, 480-659-1641, livenation.com

October 22
Judas Priest and Alice Cooper
Though we have no way of verifying it, we’d like to think PHOENIX magazine had something to do with Alice Cooper and Rob Halford of Judas Priest joining forces for a joint tour. We’ve put shock rocker Cooper on our cover, as well as the state’s Mount Rushmore, in 2022. Halford, on the other hand, was a member of our 2024 Great 48 class. Coincidence? We think not. 6:45 p.m. Check website for ticket prices. Talking Stick Resort Amphitheatre, 2121 N. 83rd Ave., Phoenix, 602-254-7200, livenation.com

All Time Low
“Suckerpunch,” one of the singles off the pop-punk legends’ newest album, Everyone’s Talking, sounds like it was made to be performed in a large venue. The band will perform it along with its two decades of other hits when it arrives in the Valley this week. 7 p.m. Check website for ticket prices. Arizona Financial Theatre, 400 W. Washington St., Phoenix, 602-514-2919, livenation.com

October 25
Viagra Boys
If you’re expecting sincerity from this Swedish post-punk band, you’d better look elsewhere. The group has built its still-growing fan base by poking fun at dude bros and the alt-right. 8 p.m. Check website for ticket prices. The Van Buren, 401 W. Van Buren St., Phoenix, 480-659-1641, livenation.com

A Day to Remember and Yellowcard
These two alt-rock powerhouses unite for a show sure to delight the emo kid in all of us. 6:15 p.m. Check website for ticket prices. Talking Stick Resort Amphitheatre, 2121 N. 83rd Ave., Phoenix, 602-254-7200, livenation.com
