Sydney Sprague
Fear never sounded so good. Phoenix singer-songwriter Sydney Sprague recently released “As Scared As Can Be,” which she describes as the most unhinged song she’s ever written. She definitely has a point. The swirling sounds of the catchy, melancholic track about love unreturned spin faster than your mind frantically searching for reasons why your special someone doesn’t love you back. He’s won a Pulitzer Prize and countless Grammy awards. If that weren’t enough for the Super Bowl Halftime Show performer, his Drake diss track “Not Like Us” became the longest-running song on Billboard’s Hot Rap Songs chart. Perfume Genius
Mike Hadreas, the singer/songwriter better known as Perfume Genius, often writes songs about being uncomfortable. You can see that when he takes the stage, as well.
