Every week, we present a curated list of live music in a wide range of genres around the Valley. This week’s column features plenty of comebacks and a solo debut.

February 24
Amy Grant
After several health scares sidelined her from the spotlight, the Christian pop singer has made a triumphant return to the stage, belting out her classic songs like “Baby, Baby” and “Every Heartbeat.” Catch a glimpse of Grant’s comeback as she presents her captivating show, Songs, Stories, Memories. 7:30 p.m., $35-$75, Celebrity Theatre, 440 N. 32nd St., Phoenix, 602-267-1600, celebritytheatre.com

February 24
Mandy Patinkin
Generations are familiar with Patinkin from his iconic role as Inigo Montoya in the timeless classic The Princess Bride. However, when the multi-talented artist graces the Valley as part of Arizona Musicfest, he’ll show audiences his sensitive side with a unique setlist that draws inspiration from the great American songbook, including songs from Stephen Sondheim, George Gershwin, and even folk singer Harry Chapin. 7:30 p.m., $65-$129, Highlands Church, 9050 E. Pinnacle Peak Rd, Scottsdale, azmusicfest.org

February 26-27
Styx
The members of Styx are no slouches. For more than five decades, the Chicago rock group has set the mood for the perfect slow dance with epic love songs like “Lady” and “Babe.” 7:30 p.m. Check website for ticket prices. Celebrity Theatre, 440 N. 32nd St., Phoenix, 602-267-1600, celebritytheatre.com

February 28
Lauren Mayberry
You may not recognize Lauren Mayberry’s name immediately, but you know her unmistakable soprano as the vocalist of the synth-pop indie band CHVRCHES. Last year saw the release of her excellent solo album, the pop-focused Vicious Creature. Much like Annie Lennox, whose track “Walking On Broken Glass” Mayberry samples on the track “Crocodile Tears,” the songwriter sounds more confident as a solo artist than she does with her band. 8 p.m., $30-$120, Crescent Ballroom, 308 N. 2nd Ave., Phoenix, 602-716-2222, crescentphx.com

February 28-March 1
Extra Innings Festival
The best indie and mainstream artists and an array of MLB legends will gather on the south shore of Tempe Town Lake for the second weekend of this celebration of all things baseball. Headliners include The Lumineers, Kacey Musgraves, and local favorite Wheelwright. Check website for set times and ticket prices. Tempe Beach and Arts Park, 80 W. Rio Salado Pkwy., Tempe, inningsfestival.com
