To help those who have dedicated their lives to serving others, Bashas’ Family of Stores debuted in November a discount program for retired and active-duty military, first responders and their families. On the first Tuesday of every month and on select holidays, these community protectors can save 10 percent on groceries at Bashas’, Food City and AJ’s Fine Foods by presenting a valid ID. “While we could never repay the selfless work of these brave and patriotic individuals, we wish to honor their service and share our gratitude for all they do – and have done,” company president Keith Knopf said in a statement.
