In February, The Caesars Entertainment Company brought some Vegas magic to the Valley with the Caesars Republic Hotel Scottsdale, the hospitality company’s first hotel without a casino. The property makes up for what it lacks in slot machines and poker tables with gourmet food options, glamorous pools and glitzy nightlife. Here are three ways to enjoy a staycation at Caesars Republic Hotel Scottsdale this summer.

Grub on gourmet fare prepared by a celebrity chef.
Caesars Republic Hotel Scottsdale has three distinctive dining options. Luna by Giada is a “sophisticated, high-energy environment,” according to the Ceasars website, that is a mix of head chef Giada De Laurentiis’ Roman heritage and love for Italian cuisine, featuring dishes such as the Nodi Marini Alla Vodka pasta with a creamy arrabbiata sauce ($39). If you’re in the mood for something heartier, entrees include a petit filet with Parmesan mashed potatoes ($67). Luna also offers a cocktail menu including drinks like Mornings in Venice ($12) and selections of cognac, brandy and cordials such as the Johnnie Walker Blue ($60).
Pronto by Giada is a casual, sit-down breakfast and lunch restaurant focusing on fresh, fast fare. Dishes like a Greek yogurt parfait and chicken Parmesan panini will satisfy cravings without breaking the bank ( $31-$50).
Seven is a luxury poolside lounge featuring a menu of snacks like an artisan pretzel with beer cheese dip ($15) and lunch and dinner items such as black truffle steak frites ($48) and a full-service bar featuring specialty cocktails, blended drinks, a wine and reserve list, and some non-alcoholic and kid-friendly options.

Dance and drink the night away under the stars.
Seven also hosts a happy hour called Golden Hour every weekday evening including food and drink specials. Don’t miss the spinach dip ($8) and the Firesky Margarita ($10). The poolside club also boasts a sports-viewing experience with 20-plus high-definition TVs and access to Caesars Sportsbook. The highlight, however, is the VIP seventh-floor pool with cabana service that turns into a nightclub with a DJ, exclusive VIP seating and cocktails after dark.

Party at the pool(s).
Caesars Republic features two pools: the seventh-floor pool with stunning views of Camelback Mountain with a full bar and Cleopatra’s Pool and Bar, which will host a pool party every Saturday and Sunday this summer from noon to 6 p.m. with DJs and food and drink deals.
