The Wild West has a history of captivating duos, with pairs such as Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, Roy Rogers and Dale Evans, and Doc Holliday and Wyatt Earp. Western Spirit: Scottsdale’s Museum of the West’s marquee exhibition, Western Pop: Andy Warhol & Billy Schenck, likewise combines the work of two iconic artists who shaped the world of pop art in distinct and revolutionary ways. Warhol, known for his urban, pop-culture-inspired creations, meets the contemporary, untamed spirit of the Wild West from Schenck in an exhibition that explores the myths and nostalgia of the American West from different perspectives. June 20-November 26. Check online for ticket prices. 3830 N. Marshall Way, Scottsdale, 480-686-9539, scottsdalemuseumwest.org
