The immaculately groomed, easy-to-follow trail makes a lasso loop around 7,595-foot, antenna-cluttered Porter Mountain passing through shaded oak-pine woodlands, juniper groves, airy grasslands and numerous stock ponds with a traipse across Woolhouse Wildlife Habitat Area.
