“I’m really excited to put a face to my business,” says Madalyn Nault of Madalyn Nault Accessories. For her, Best Fest is a chance to have fun and let loose after being featured in PHOENIX magazine year after year.
What can attendees expect from you at Best Fest?
I’m bringing purses, wallets and various accessories. They are all made by me. They are fun designs and unique prints.
What are you most looking forward to about Best Fest?
I’m just really excited. It seems like it is going to be a lot of fun.
What’s the importance of Best Fest for you?
I was voted Best Fashion Designer in 2020 and have been featured in the magazine a couple of times, so I’m really excited to put a face to my business.
When and why did you start Madalyn Nault Accessories?
I started it when I was in high school because nothing was cool enough for me. It just started off as a hobby of mine and it organically grew up with me and one day it was suddenly a business.
Shout out another Valley business that you admire. What do you admire about them?
I can’t pick just one. I feel like I have to pick my husband’s business, Primitive Glass. He’ll be there with me at Best Fest. He’s extremely talented and he’s coming up with some new designs and he’ll be showing him off there, too.
What’s the best thing about living and working in Phoenix?
The diversity of everything, the people, the food, the businesses. It feels like there’s an oppournity for everybody to showcase what they bring to the table.
What’s next for Madalyn Nault Accessories?
To just keep growing and getting more opportunities to bring my work to people’s hands.
