PARK CONNECTOR
Running between Dead Horse Ranch and Red Rock State parks in the Verde Valley, the 15-mile Lime Kiln Trail is a smooth and seamless trek. Short on Time? Try the 4.8-mile segment that begins at the Deer Pass trailhead along State Route 89A.
Getting There: From the State Route 179/89A traffic circle in Sedona, go 9.7 miles west (left toward Cottonwood) on SR 89A to Forest Road 89B (past milepost 365). Turn left and continue 0.1 mile to Deer Pass Trailhead on the right. There are restrooms but no water at the trailhead. Trail begins at the sign in the parking area behind the restrooms.
