Late fall is the perfect time for a quick getaway to Lake Havasu City, which recently celebrated the 50th anniversary of the rebuilding of the renowned London Bridge. Here’s what’s new in Havasu.

The Fresh Herb
This new eatery on Swanson Avenue, aka “Restaurant Row,” has a menu with dishes from a range of cuisines. Guests can enjoy a teriyaki grilled chicken sandwich, herb-marinated grilled shrimp or quattro formaggio flatbread, as well as heartier meat and pasta entrées.

Dixie Belle
Come visit this historical paddleboat, which has finally returned after 10 years out of the water.  At press time, the watercraft remained docked but open for reservations, with a waitlist for tours when it is once again under way. Tours are set to resume this November.

Optic Helicopters
Have you ever seen the London Bridge from above? Optic Helicopters offers five set helicopter tours, as well as custom experiences. Prices, course and duration differ between each tour, but they all provide beautiful views and fun ways to see Lake Havasu City from a new perspective.
