Every week, we present a curated list of live music in a wide range of genres all around the Valley. Catchy alternative and blues-infused rock, classic rock giants, fusion rappers and Tejano music legends are all hitting stages near you this week.

Cold War Kids
Monday, September 20 at The Van Buren
L.A.-based Cold War Kids bring their hook-filled alternative rock songs to town, in support of their album LA Divine. Gabe Goodman opens the show. 8 p.m. Monday, September 20 at The Van Buren, 401 W. Van Buren St., Phoenix, thevanburenphx.com. Tickets cost $27-$30 plus fees.

High Street
Thursday, September 23 at Yucca Tap Room
Blues-influenced hard rockers High Street visit Tempe from L.A. to promote their new amped-up single, “Swallow Your Pride.” Burn’d Bridges is also on the bill. 8 p.m. Thursday, September 23 at Yucca Tap Room, 29 W. Southern Ave., Tempe, yuccatap.com. Admission is free.

The Eagles
Friday and Saturday, September 24 and 25 at Footprint Center
Legendary rock band the Eagles performs at the revamped Footprint Center, drawing on more than 50 years of recordings, including “Hotel California,” “Take It Easy,” “Best of My Love,” and “Heartache Tonight.” 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday, September 24 and 25 at Footprint Center, 201 E. Michael Franti Trio and Young the Giant
Saturday, September 25 at Mesa Amphitheatre
As part of its “I Love Mesa Day” celebrations, City of Mesa is hosting free shows featuring rapper Michael Franti (with special guest Quetzal Guerrero) and alternative rock band Young the Giant. 4:30 and 8:15 p.m. Saturday, September 25 at Mesa Amphitheatre, 263 N. Center St., Mesa, mesaamp.com. Admission is free, but tickets are required.

Little Joe y La Familia
Saturday, September 25 at Harrah’s Ak-Chin Casino
Members of Little Joe y La Familia have performed Tejano music around the world for more than 60 years. 8 p.m. Saturday, September 25 at The Events Center at Harrah’s Ak-Chin Casino, 15406 N. Maricopa Rd., Maricopa, caesars.com/harrahs-ak-chin/shows. Tickets cost $24.50-$49.50.
