Kitchen appliance company Ninja put out a call to smoothie enthusiasts across the U.S. in search of its first “Smoothie Bowl Sommelier.” This spring, it announced the winner – Phoenix dietitian Gillean Barkyoumb. In her new role, she will craft smoothie bowl recipes.

Genevieve Denslow
A brawl broke out between two women at a Scottsdale Bath & Body Works due to alleged line-cutting. Genevieve Denslow captured the commotion on camera. Her footage of the fracas went viral on Twitter in March, and the video now has nearly 12 million views.

Brandon Soules
It all started when Coolidge resident Brandon Soules didn’t want to go to work. Instead of quitting or calling out, he faked his own kidnapping to get out of his gig at an auto shop. Soules said two men abducted him and knocked him unconscious. He was charged with false reporting after authorities found no evidence.
