Now that the dyed green beer thing is out of your system (or maybe you had too much on St. Patrick’s Day) it’s time to remember what good beer is all about. First, it’s not green – and second, it can be found at your local brewery here in Arizona. Here’s our top picks of new craft beer releases for the weekend of March 18 – 21. Drink responsibly!

White Ranger from Goldwater Brewing (Scottsdale & Mesa)

The Go-Go Sour Rangers are nearly complete. The White Ranger Berliner Weisse is the 5th release in the current series that began back in November and has included a blackberry sour, a pink guava sour and a blueberry sour — all delicious! White Ranger sour combines white peach, vanilla and lactose for a beer worth going to battle over. Available starting Friday for $18 per four-pack.

Blondie IPA at Wren House Brewing (Phoenix)

This collaborative hazy IPA supports the Audubon Society Southwest Region and Wild At Heart Raptors nonprofit organization. Blondie checks in at 6.2% ABV, but feels crushable like a session IPA. Available in to-go four-packs for $16.

Bonus: Wren House Brewing’s Rebuild The Guild IPA collab releases on Friday, available in $17 four-packs to go.

This is the Way Imperial  IPA from Front Pourch Brewing (Phoenix)

There may be nothing better than combining beer with a Star Wars reference. The 9.5% ABV  imperial IPA makes its triumphant return from a galaxy far far away – and it’s now on draft and available in four-packs to go. May the Force be with this one.

Mr.  Lonely Series from Throne Brewing (Glendale and Peoria)

Don’t be lonely this weekend. Snag a four-pack of this hazy IPA to share with friends. Using experimental hops, this new brew hints at flavors of citrus, tropical fruit and mint. Available in four-pack cans at both locations.

Big Stick Double IPA at State 48 Brewery

This 10% ABV double hazy IPA speaks softly but carries a big stick. Look for it on tap at State 48’s five Valley locations – the sixth location at Gilbert’s SanTan Village is not yet open, but its social media keeps hinting at opening any day.

Brutus Stout at Simple Machine Brewing (Phoenix)

Brutus is Simple Machine’s imperial chocolate stout and it’s bigger than ever this year, coming in at 9% ABVGet a pour on nitro at the brewery.

Cobra Blood 3 from Arizona Wilderness Brewing (Gilbert and Phoenix)

There will be Cobra Blood this weekend! This is the third variant of Wilderness’ collaboration IPA with Cobra Arcade Bar in Downtown Phoenix and Tucson, using locally grown blood oranges and a tropical blend of fruity hops. Look for its release on Thursday.

Keller Helles from Tombstone Brewing (Phoenix and Tombstone)

If it’s time for some spring cleaning, go clean and crisp with your beer choice as well. Tombstone’s Munich Helles style beer is back on draft at its brewpubs for a limited time.

Brigid Nitro Irish Stout at Wren House Brewing (Phoenix)

Keep the spirit of St. Patrick’s Day alive throughout the weekend with the dark chocolate and toffee flavors of this Irish stout from Wren House. Available in four-packs for $15. Wren House is still only open for to-go orders, but according to social media posts earlier this week, look for it to possibly reopen for in-person pours by the end of the month.
