Let’s raise a glass to a couple local craft breweries celebrating anniversaries this week. Our Top 10 list salutes the work you do and the good times that are had when those fresh beers are served up!

1. Anniversary beers at Simple Machine Brewing (Phoenix)

At the top of your craft beer adventure this weekend is pretty simple – get to Simple Machine in North Phoenix and help celebrate its oneyear anniversary. New beers this week include Helical Haze with Galaxy and Mosaic hops, Celebration Fedora milkshake IPA, a cherry/vanilla Pastry Sour and Hop Sting IPA.

2. Wally Wall from Wren House Brewing (Phoenix)

Wally is a good boy, but you’ll be rubbing your own belly after this one. The latest variant of Wren House’s popular triple IPA features Strata, Centennial and Mandarina Bavaria hops to make it a fruity yet dank 10% ABV craft beer. Available in four-packs for $22.

3. South Orange’dale Sour from Fate Brewing (Scottsdale)

Loads of orange and vanilla combine to create this sour American wheat beer that honors an old collaborative spirit (originally brewed with the now-shuttered Papago Brewing). Find it on draft at the South Scottdale location and enjoy the patio while you’re there.

4. Never Say Never Saison from Huss Brewing (Tempe & Phoenix)

You always remember your first time. Huss tapped its first ever Saison this week, brewed with orange peel to give it a bitter bite on the tongue. Check it out at both taprooms.

5. The Roosevelts DIPA from Arizona Wilderness (Gilbert & Phoenix)

This double IPA is dedicated to reducing farm water usage and improving the local grain economy by using all locally grown grains. On tap and available in four-packs at both locations. A fresh batch of Camp Light American light lager is also new this week.

6. Scotchdale from Goldwater Brewing (Scottsdale)

A 7.3% ABV Scotch ale that gives a nod to the West’s Most Western Town in the name. Enjoy one on draft or grab it to go in cans.

7. Rice Climbers Cream Ale from 8-Bit Aleworks (Avondale)

This 5.1% ABV cream ale is loaded with flavors of Tahitian Vanilla, marshmallow and rice to taste like a Rice Krispy Treat in a beer!

8. Wingardium LeviGose from Dark Sky Brewing (Flagstaff)

What sorcery is this? A sour brewed with mangoes, lime, lactose and sea salt is sure to get you to float on up to Flagstaff for a pour or two. Also available in crowlers to go.

9. Sessione Street Session IPA from Historic Brewing Co. (Flagstaff & Williams)

The forecasted temperatures are in the 50s this weekend in Flagstaff, which is downright tropical in mid-January. You’ll need this crushable 5% ABV IPA to cool off on a balmy northern Arizona winter afternoon.

10. Anniversary beers at Richter Aleworks (Peoria)

This northwest Valley brewer celebrates four years in the biz with a big weekend of beer releases. Stoney’s Stout taps today (Thursday), followed by an Orange IPA and Sour Collaboration on Friday. Hop Wheels IPA taps on Saturday to complete a fun weekend at Richter.
