Tristen Vance
The Northern Arizona University football player drew national media attention when he starred in a presidential campaign ad for Joe Biden in October. Outspoken in his support of the Black Lives Matter movement, the linebacker will soon launch a podcast called The Social. He hopes to discuss social justice and amplify marginalized voices.

Toshikazu Tsukii
Retired Raytheon engineer Tsukii first garnered publicity years ago for constructing a house out of discarded airplane parts. Now, the Tucson resident is converting a decommissioned Boeing 747 in Marana into a sushi restaurant.

DeAndre Hopkins
“Bird gang” is a common phrase in Arizona Cardinals’ vernacular, but the star wide receiver took it to a new level when he was photographed flipping the bird at a caravan of President Donald Trump supporters before a game in October. Witnesses describe Hopkins swerving in and out of traffic on the I-10 in his convertible, extending his middle finger at the motorcade.
