Valley Utilities Providers Extend Disconnection Moratoriums

Several Valley utilities providers have extended disconnection moratoriums in the wake of COVID-19.

Power
Arizona Public Service (APS) is extending its hold through the end of 2020 for residential and business customers and will waive late fees. Salt River Project (SRP) is extending its moratorium through early January for its Economy Price Plan.

Water
Phoenix Water Services is continuing its moratorium on shut-offs. Late payments lead to a switch to “low-flow” accounts.

Gas
Southwest Gas is continuing service for customers experiencing financial hardship. Payment extensions can be made through its MyAccount
