Business partners Laurie Guidi and Ron Jones have known each other their whole lives – literally. The twin siblings joke they’re so inseparable that it was inevitable they’d start a business together. In March 2019, they joined forces with their spouses, Chris Guidi and Salina Jones, to open Candle Chemistry, a Scottsdale Quarter shop where you can purchase body products, home goods or candles with aromas like Cactus Flower, Sage & Saguaro and Salted Tequila. “A scent for every nose!” Laurie Guidi says. “We chose a variety that is perfect for all with unique, fun, fruity, floral, spicy and so much more.” Rather DIY? “Invent your own scent,” she says, and pour your own candle (starting at $23). “We wanted to create an ‘experience’ type of store for everyone.” 15323 N.
