Want to paint the town red but don’t know where to go in the age of coronavirus? Have no fear! Here are five fun excursions you and your friends can take during the pandemic.

Laser Tag, Arcade and Bowling at Mavrix
The Mavrix entertainment venue in Scottsdale offers a lot of options. While it’s primarily a bowling alley, you and your friends can play arcade games to win prizes, such as a hot dog toaster, or chow down on burgers and fries. However, most entertaining is the laser tag arena. As it’s sanitized frequently, you and your friends can stay safe while blasting each other and competing for high scores on the high-tech battlefield.

Topgolf
A staple of Arizona, Topgolf offers food, sports and an addicting game where you and your friends hit golf balls onto targets on a big green. Compete and see who gets the best scores while munch on burgers and wings. The best part is that you don’t even need to be good at golf to have fun – just try your best to hit the targets.

Indoor Go-Kart Racing at K1 speed
There are no reservations required at this Phoenix-area indoor go-kart track. Race your friends and try not to crash! You’ll have to be quick though. Since there are no reservations, the place can get pretty crowded. Plan accordingly.

Castles N’ Coasters
Castles N’ Coasters has reopened in Phoenix with limited hours. The park offers a multitude of attractions – the arcade, mini golf, indy car and bumper boats are open from 10 a.m.-11 p.m. Monday through Sunday. The main attraction, the thrill rides, are only open from 6-11 p.m., but there are plenty of other activities to keep you entertained!

Dave and Buster’s
The Dave and Buster’s location in Tempe recently opened, and it brings with it all the entertainment you expect from the arcade/dining chain. Eat from their large menu and watch sports with your friends, and then proceed to play numerous arcade games and win awesome prizes! Dave and Buster’s is always reliable if you want to have a good time out on the town.
