Desert Ridge Marketplace has brought back its free Classics in the Courtyard series for fall, giving the public a place to view classic movies outdoors in a socially distanced setting.

Films are shown on a large LED screen in the Barnes and Noble Courtyard at Desert Ridge at 6 p.m. every Sunday through October 25. People are encouraged to bring blankets and chairs (and are asked to maintain social distancing) while enjoying silver screen classics under the stars. Movie meals cost $10 and are available from Barrio Queen, Islands, Slices, Smashburger, Tikka Shack, Thirsty Lion and Flower Child.

The James Bond flick Goldfinger screens on October 4, while Jaws will enthrall audiences in October 11. The 1986 romance-comedy Pretty in Pink screens October 18, and the series wraps October 25 with a showing of Forrest Gump. For more information, visit shopdesertridge.com/event/classic.
