“The biggest challenges through this pandemic have been shifting from in-person events to online sales and adjusting to a new way of sourcing materials,” says Madalyn Nault, a Phoenix designer who creates wallets and clutches using vinyl and upcycled fabric under her Madalyn Nault Accessories label. This spring, she reluctantly added a new product: face masks. “I found myself dwelling on the fact that if a skill I had was needed in an emergency, then I needed to make it a priority to contribute,” she says. Every time she posts a new batch on Instagram, they sell out within hours. “I am so grateful for not only the success of this temporary addition to my business, but that people are continuing to support me and my family in this uncertain time.” madalynnaultaccessories.com
