The 1st round of voting is over and 16 iconic Arizona sports moments are moving on to the next round in our Bracket. Here’s the biggest blowout, closest contest and top vote-getter.

The closest match-up
the 1998 Cardinals playoff win over the Cowboys had seven more votes to narrowly edge. the Arizona Rattlers 1st Arena Bowl win.

The biggest blowout
Charles Barkley’s game-winning shot over the Spurs in the ’93 playoffs coasted to a first round victory by 96 votes over Malcolm Butler’s goal line interception in the Super Bowl in Glendale.

The most votes
Steve Nash winning NBA MVP garnered the most votes of the more than 2,000 votes cast in the opening round.
