Thanks to a much-loved episode of Parks & Recreation, Valentine’s Day is now accompanied by a day to celebrate how much you love and appreciate your friends. Still trying to figure out what your group wants to do for Galentine’s Day? Scope out these local options:

1. If you’re looking for something different…
Garden Mixtape at the Desert Botanical Gardens
When: Feb. 13 @ 7:30 p.m.
Where: Desert Botanical Gardens, 1201 N. Galvin Pkwy., Phoenix
Price: $25 for members, $30 for general public
Ditch a standard happy hour meet-up and head over to the Desert Botanical Gardens to listen to live music and sip on local beers.

2. If you’re looking for something fun…
Simply Smashing Rage Release Room
Where: 1301 E. University Dr., Ste. 101, Tempe
Price: Party Packages are $112 for up to four people
Sometimes Valentine’s Day can bring up negative emotions. Whether you’re feeling angry about an ex that wronged you, annoyed that you’ve had a series of bad dates or just need to relieve some tension with your best friends, busting up a bunch of stuff in a Rage Room seems like a great option.

3. If you’re looking for something active…
Galentine’s Day Yoga
When: Feb. 13 @ 5:45 p.m.
Where: Elevate Yoga & Wellness, 1001 N. 3rd Ave., Ste. 2, Phoenix
Price: $40 for a 75-minute class and a complimentary glass of wine
Keep your New Year’s fitness resolutions in mind with this Galentine’s Day event. All levels are welcome to join and there will be time afterward to sip on wine and chat at GenuWine.
