Who says Fourth of July festivities have to be limited to one day? Phoenix has a plethora of patriotic pyrotechnics in store all Fourth of July weekend. Assemble your crew, grab some lawn chairs and check out these five festive fireworks displays that will shimmer from sea to shining sea… or at least from Lake Pleasant to Tempe Town Lake.

Celebrate America at Lake Pleasant
July 3
Kick back, relax and watch in awe as cascades of color shoot through the night sky and reflect off the water at Pleasant Harbor. Before the fireworks, enjoy live music, food trucks and kids’ activities such as water slides and bounce houses. Fireworks start at 9 p.m.

Fabulous Phoenix Fourth
July 4
The 34th annual event at Steele Indian School Park will feature one of the largest fireworks displays in the Southwest. The whole family can also partake in free inflatable rides, live music, arts and crafts, vendors and a classic car display. Fireworks will start at approximately 9:30 p.m.

July 4th Tempe Town Lake Festival
July 4
This family-friendly festival at Tempe Beach Park features a kids’ zone for the youngsters and a beer garden for the adults. Both can “ooh” and “ah” at fireworks provided by the Kiwanis Club of Tempe at 9:15 p.m.

Arizona Diamondbacks Fireworks Spectacular
July 5
Sparks will fly as the D-Backs take on the Colorado Rockies at Chase Field. After the game, the retractable roof will open to reveal a fireworks display presented by Gila River Hotels & Casinos.

Civana Lights: Drone Show Spectacular
July 6
Much like the Civana Spa and Resort itself – an approachable alternative to other wellness retreats – this drone show offers a sustainable substitute for the standard fireworks display. The Scottsdale spa will host its second annual aerial light show on July 6, in which 100 custom LED-lit drones will illuminate the sky and can be seen from a mile away.
