Scott Appelman
Scott Appelman is the founder and president of Rainbow Ryders Inc. — the largest balloon ride business in the United States and Official Hot Air Balloon Ride Operator for the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta, Colorado Springs Labor Day Lift Off and Scottsdale’s newest holiday event (coming in 2020). He graduated from the University of New Mexico’s Anderson School of Management and works as a pilot with over 5,400 hours of flight time, beginning in 1983. Appelman is celebrating 38 years of business with Rainbow Ryders, providing commercial rides, tethers and corporate sponsorships for companies like Dos Equis and Intel.
