Sure, there’s more to life than social media. But who doesn’t love taking a good photo?

Our Instagram profiles may be only surface-level representations of our lives, but it can be fun to show off a picture of a great view with your friends – especially if you’re in it. Here are some of our favorite places, in no particular order, to take a snapshot for the ‘gram. Plus, you’ll get a fun experience from all of the items on this list, so everybody wins.

Wonderspaces

You’ve probably seen at least one of the 13 art installations available on your friends’ Snapchat and Instagram stories before, and for a good reason. Prepare to see VR dinners, a suspended fist, a plethora of black balloons, and much more; there’s plenty of spots at this Scottsdale art enterprise to show off on your profile.

7014 E Camelback Rd, Scottsdale. $15 – $24. Arizona.wonderspaces.com.

The Lavatory

This non-traditional art “museum” holds six interactive art exhibits, all with varying levels of mood lighting for the perfect photo. The main attraction: A giant ball pit for frolicking. All 120,000 plastic balls are cleaned every night, so don’t worry about the potential grossness factor.

4700 N 12th Street, Phoenix. (480) 968-7895. $25. Lavatoryphx.com.

Life’s a pain. Come wrap your head in toilet paper in the White Room and experience immersion therapy in the cleanest adult ball pit on the planet. Flash Sale. Thursday night (03/21/19) $20 for the 7pm ball drop or $15 for a mini-drop at 8pm and get your picture taken in the Burning Man Box. Get a sneak peak at one of the rooms that’s not open to the public. Go to LavatoryPhx.com for tickets and type FLASHSALE where it says, “Enter Code.” If you don’t have a credit card or the ticketing process is a headache call us at 480.968.7895 and we will help you. (Guess who typed this caption? The beautiful model in all four pictures who’s dancing fingers typed so much faster than her dad. And then she said, “People are gonna think I wrote this.”

South Mountain Park and Preserve

Some of the best sights in the Valley are in our own backyards – namely, Phoenix’s backyard. Get a scenic view of the city from any one of the park’s peaks while squeezing in a cardio workout at the same time. I love taking a nice evening hike on Pima Canyon Trail; the trail is easy, safer, and easy on the eyes.

Roosevelt Row

Murals are the classic backdrop to any Instagram-worthy snapshot. Almost every building between Central Avenue and 7th Street has a gorgeous artwork plastered on their wall, so there’s bound to be one that fits your aesthetic. My favorite is Brian Boner’s mural featuring a child, a watering can and plenty of birds off 2nd Street.
