Thai H. Ho, MD, PhD, is an associate professor of medicine at Mayo Clinic. He completed the Physician-Scientist Training Program at Baylor College of Medicine in 2006, an internal medicine residency at Washington University in St. Louis and an oncology fellowship at the MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston. Dr. Ho’s clinical practice focuses on the treatment of hereditary cancers, as well as kidney cancer. His research is funded by the National Cancer Institute and the Department of Defense to translate bench discoveries to patient care. Dr. Ho is also working on how identifying tumors might allow doctors to provide more individualized medicine to their patients.
