Steven J. Hattrup, MD, is a board certified orthopedic surgeon with a subspecialty interest in shoulder reconstructive surgery. His clinical focus includes shoulder replacement surgery including both anatomic and reverse replacement, revision shoulder replacement surgery, and rotator cuff repair and reconstruction.
Dr. Hattrup is emeritus chair of the
Department of Orthopedic Surgery and a professor of orthopedic surgery at the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science.
Dr. Hattrup has published over 50 articles in peer-reviewed literature and is a member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgery, and the American Shoulder and Elbow Surgeons. He is an assistant editor and reviewer of the Journal of Shoulder and Elbow Surgery.
