Scott M. Cheney, MD, is a urologist with subspecialization in benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) and minimally invasive surgery for urologic conditions. His practice focuses on holmium laser enucleation of the prostate (HoLEP), robotic surgery of the kidney, ureter, bladder, and prostate, and upper tract reconstructive procedures. Dr. Cheney graduated from the University of Arizona College of Medicine, later completing residency at Mayo Clinic, and is currently an Instructor of Urology at the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine. As Vice Chair of Practice for the Department of Urology, Dr. Cheney helps lead initiatives to continue to optimize, grow, and transform clinical practice to meet patient care needs.
