Panos S. Savvides, MD, PhD, MPH, is a medical oncologist focused in head and neck, and thoracic malignancies. He is a principal investigator on numerous clinical trials, including first in humans, phase 0, I, II, III and observational trials evaluating novel chemotherapeutics and radiosensitizing agents. He serves on the National Cancer Institute’s Head and Neck Steering committee. Dr. Savvides received his medical and doctoral degrees from the University of Athens Medical School in Greece. He completed his internal medicine residency at Harvard Medical School, and fellowships in hematology/oncology and clinical care research at the Tufts Medical School, New England Medical Center. Dr. Savvides also holds a master’s degree in public health from Harvard School of Public Health.
