Matthew Neal, M.D. is a neurosurgeon and assistant professor of neurosurgery at Mayo Clinic in Arizona, where he treats radiculopathy, spinal stenosis, spinal tumors, spine deformity and brain tumors. His clinical interests include minimally-invasive spine surgery, spinal oncology, adult degenerative scoliosis, kyphotic spinal deformity, and brain tumors.
Dr. Neal earned his medical degree at the University Of Tennessee College Of Medicine and completed an internship and residency in neurosurgery at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center. Following his residency, he completed a complex spinal surgery fellowship at Barrow Neurological Institute in Phoenix.
