Mahesh Seetharam, MD, received his medical degree in India in 1998 and then pursued post-graduate training in the United Kingdom and at the National Cancer Institute. He completed a residency at Albert Einstein College of Medicine and hematology and oncology training at Stanford Medical Center in sarcoma. At Mayo Clinic Dr. Seetharam specializes in bone and soft tissue sarcoma and skin cancers including melanoma. He leads the Early Cancer Therapeutics Program which offers promising new drugs for all types of cancers. Dr. Seetharam leads clinical trials for sarcoma and melanoma and serves as the President of the Arizona State Oncology Society.
