Maciej M. Mrugala, MD, PhD, MPH, specializes in neuro-oncology and treats benign and malignant brain tumors, neurologic complications of cancer and neurofibromatosis. He received his training at the University of Massachusetts, Massachusetts General Hospital, Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and Harvard Medical School. After his residency and fellowship, he worked at the University of Washington and Seattle Cancer Care Alliance leading the Neuro-Oncology Program. In 2017, he joined Mayo Clinic and has been directing Neuro-Oncology Program focusing on multi-disciplinary care and innovative clinical and translational research. He received multiple awards for excellence in patient care and serves as a Chair of the Neuro-Oncology Section for the American Academy of Neurology.
