Kostas J. Economopoulos, MD, is fellowship-trained in sports medicine and hip arthroscopy. He specializes in sports knee, shoulder and hip issues including ACL and meniscal tears, hip impingement, labral tears and shoulder rotator cuff tears and instability.
Dr. Economopoulos routinely performs complex surgeries including ACL reconstruction, meniscal and cartilage repair, hip arthroscopy, rotator cuff and shoulder repair and stabilization. He is an orthopedic team physician for Arizona State University Athletics and Grand Canyon University Athletics.
Also, Dr. Economopoulos is the head team physician for the Phoenix Rising Football Club and several Valley high school sports teams.
