Jeanne M. Palmer, MD, is a hematologist-oncologist at Mayo Clinic and specializes in myeloproliferative neoplasms and bone marrow transplantation. Dr. Palmer is active in research and runs clinical trials studying innovative therapies for myeloproliferative diseases, including essential thrombocythemia, polycythemia vera and myelofibrosis. She is an active member of the American Society of Hematology and the National Consortia for Myeloproliferative Neoplasms. She enjoys establishing relationships with patients through education promoting shared decision making. Dr. Palmer serves as the vice chair, and section chief for Hematology and is the program director for the Blood and Marrow Transplant Program.
