Anikar Chhabra, MD, is board certified in orthopedic surgery and sports medicine. He specializes in arthroscopy of the knee and shoulder, minimally invasive surgery, sports-related injuries, and complex knee disorders.
Since 2007, Dr. Chhabra has been the head orthopedic surgeon for Arizona State University. He provides care for three community colleges and fifteen local high schools. Additionally, Dr. Chhabra is a medical director for the Fiesta Bowl.
Recently, Dr. Chhabra was appointed to the Board of Directors of the Arizona Sports and Tourism Authority by the Governor. He is an Associate Professor, vice-chair of clinical practice in orthopedics, and the chair of sports medicine at Mayo Clinic in Arizona.
