Mesa Arts Center offers a variety of virtual summer art classes, including sketching basics, fused glass explorations, watercolor basics, figurative sculpture, copper foiled bevel boxes, large-scale metal sculpture and nerikomi clay works. $65-$95. Fiber Art Nest

August 7 - August 28

Students explore the possibilities of fiber art in this virtual class led by Linda Arandas. New techniques are introduced weekly, including textile painting, monoprinting on fabric with Gelli plate, applique, hand-embroidery, needle felting and embellishments. Students will learn how to combine these techniques, and stitch-by-stitch create a beautiful fiber art nest.
