Closings
- After 12 years on Seventh Street in Phoenix, El Chullo Peruvian restaurant has closed its original location’s doors. The family-run restaurant still has a location in the Melrose District.
- Oro Brewing in Mesa has closed after nine years and will be taken over by Armando Hernandez and Nadia Holguin of Tacos Chiwas, who will open a new concept.
- Ra Sushi has shut down its Ahwatukee location after 25 years, marking the second outlet to close in the past six months.
- S & V Urban Italian has closed its Scottsdale location after 14 years, but the Chandler location remains open.
- Chandler sushi spot Smokin Fins has called it quits after nine years.
- Torchy’s Tacos has closed its Queen Creek eatery after three years, leaving the Phoenix, Gilbert and Surprise locations.
