Closing

Downtown Gilbert’s The Bar has shuttered.

The Golden Pineapple Craft Lounge, opened in 2020, has called it quits.

After 18 years, Half Moon Windy City Sports Grill on Highland Avenue near 20th Street has closed to make way for a high-rise apartment complex. The Greenway location remains open.

Continuing health issues have forced owner Matt Gorman to close Matty G’s Steakburgers & Lobsta’ Rolls in Gilbert after two years. The Mesa and Flagstaff outlets will stay open.

The Chandler location of Sir Ozzy’s Tacos y Mariscos has closed.
