Herby launched her career as a member of the pop duo Karmin in the 2000s alongside now-husband Nick Noonan, later going solo and taking her stage name from the mascot of the Nebraska Cornhuskers. She scored her biggest hit with the single “Busta Rhymes” in 2017. Check website for ticket prices. June 7
Head Automatica

This indie rock band started out as a sort of supergroup. Fronted by Daryl Palumbo of Glassjaw, its debut album, Decadence, was a blistering mix of early ‘80s punk and techno that quickly developed a cult following. It also featured the stylings of now-legendary Dan “The Automator” Nakamura, known for his work with Gorillaz. The band’s 2006 follow-up, Popaganda, lost the techno with Nakamura’s departure but kept the new wave style, adopting a more Difford/Tilbrook-style of songwriting. A third album was written but was sadly shelved. However, twenty years after the release of its last studio album, Palumbo has finally gotten the band back together for a tour. 8 p.m. $25. The Rebel Lounge, 2303 E. Indian School Rd., Phoenix, therebellounge.com
