Closing

Chef Ivan Jacobo’s Anhelo has closed in Phoenix and moved to Scottsdale. His new concept, Flour & Thyme, will open in its place.

After eight years in Mesa, AZ International Marketplace will shut down.

Disco Dragon on Roosevelt Row has closed and will be taken over by sister restaurant Pretty Penny in December.

Little Miss BBQ sib Full Speed Chicken & Ribs in Downtown Phoenix has shuttered after seven months because “It never seemed to catch fire,” according to its Facebook page.

Litchfield Park’s Ground Control has lost its lease and will close in mid-December.

Phoenicia Café in Tempe will close in December after nesrly two decades, citing high rent. The Gilbert location remains open.

Teriyaki Madness has closed all of its Arizona locations.

A spinoff of Glendale’s Throne Brewing, Throne Brewing & Pizza Kitchen in Downtown Phoenix, has closed after three years amid unpaid wage allegations by former staff.

Thundercat Lounge nightclub in Downtown Phoenix has called it quits due to build-out issues and inflation.
