Bacanora Chef Brings Culinary Expertise to New Wren House Brewing Venture

Renowned Phoenix chef Derek Christensen, known for his culinary expertise at Bacanora, is set to bring his talent to Wren House Brewing’s newest venture, Wren Südhalle – a European-inspired beer hall slated to open later this year, according to Wren Südhalle’s Instagram.

After honing his skills abroad, Christensen recently returned to his desert roots. His significant contributions at Bacanora, which specializes in Mexican cuisine and Sonoran delicacies, earned him two James Beard nominations for Best New Restaurant and Best Chef Southwest.

Having gained invaluable culinary experience in Europe, Christensen is well-equipped to curate the menu for Wren House Brewing’s exciting new location in Ahwatukee.
